The Edo State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria(SWAN) has appealed to the body at the national level to speedily resolve the crisis at stake.
This was one of the issues that was deliberated upon at the congress of the chapter held at the Media Centre of the Samuel Ogbemudia, Benin on Wednesday afternoon.
On harmony within its rank the congress said it was elated just as it pleads for unity in the national leadership of the body.
Talking about its membership strength the congress expressed satisfaction that its membership is growing in leaps and bounds daily such that the membership is substantial enough to conduct the affairs of the body judiciously as prescribed by SWAN statute.
Congress also noted the remarkable response to the call on members to fulfil their obligation to the body and urged those who have not fully met their financial obligation to the the association in readiness for the chapter’s election to do so.
