“They cook, wine and dine at the same premises at the expense of the State. It is very sad that the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has turned our peaceful state into a war-torn zone, Obaseki intends to turn the heartbeat of the nation into Afghanistan.
“We are calling on the good citizens of Edo State to come out openly and condemn the continuous waste of our resources by Obaseki over frivolous and baseless political battles.

“Edo State cannot continue to be harbouring a nest of killers all in the sake of Governor Obaseki needs a second term.
“A situation where the Governor camps 100 miscreants at EDHA and spends over 5 million daily is a complete waste of our state resources.

“We call on the relevant security agencies to take this as a lead and dislodged those miscreants stationed at the Assembly Complex.

“Lastly, we urge the good people of Edo State to not only be watchful but also prayerful as all indications point to the fact that Obaseki is hellbent on making the State ungovernable in order to get reelected.

“Election is not war. We must insist on free and fair elections.”
