Benin Solidarity Movement (BSM) Worldwide view with concern the recent hocus pocus of a self-acclaimed, inglorious, self-appointed Ijaw ragtag mouthpiece, Izon Ibe Dragnet as it relates to the status of Gelegele, a community in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State.
It is regrettable that the much BSM could interpret about the poorly written and presented piece is that the self-appointed group’s continuous claim that Gelegele is a Ijaw community in Ovia North Local Government (whenever was such a local government created) exposes the real character cum identity of the sponsors of the write up.
An analysis of the crap that the self-appointed group wrote show that they are not even the Ijaws living and accommodated in Edo State courtesy of the large heart of the Benins. Findings by BSM intelligence unit has revealed that the rabbleroussers are majorly of Delta State extraction operating illegally in Edo State and are known for inciting comments against the Benins.
These groups of rascals are led by a certain fellow who was in detention for years and was only saved from the hangman noose by divine intervention. But rather than give praises to the gods of the land, the ancestors, that he is now a free man he keeps indulging in making and encouraging inciting statements against the Benins who are benevolent landlords to his brothers in Edo State.
We are keeping track of his movement on Benin soil and at the appointed time, the gods of the our land/our ancestors will serve him his due in large dose.
Let it be said the umpteenth time that Benin soil is not Ijaw soil. The Izon Ibe Dragnet and their fellow conspirators are just fighting a lost battle. The strength of the Benins is embedded in the saying that the water that produces a shark cannot disappoint the shark in a war with an eagle.
When the loudmouthed, selfappointed Ijaw groups and their sponsors cum sympathisers start getting their due punishment nobody should raise an eyebrow. Benin soil will surely consume them without any hindrance at the appropriate time.
They should be informed that the “gentle stride of a leopard does not mean it is scared.”
The recalcitrant Ijaw antagonists should go into history to see that Benin Kingdom has gone into much hotter wars and come out unscathed each time so they (the Ijaws) cannot prove more powerful in this regard.
