Barrister Neda Imasuen, the Senator representing Edo South in the red chambers of the national assembly, has asserted that the recent bashing that has been the lot of the judiciary since the court rulings that heralded the outcome of the last general elections earlier this year may be the tonic needed to change the system for good.
“The bashings of the judiciary could be what is needed for the desired changes in the judiciary. We all want changes to the electoral law.
“I belong to the Judiciary Committee of the Senate. It is something that we have been talking about and by the grace of God there will be changes.”
Speaking on the award bestowed on him by the Benin (Lion Bar) Chapter of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) last weekend he expressed his happiness.
“It feels so good especially when you are been honoured by your peers. It is something to cherish. It is one award that I will cherish till the end of my life. I am greatful to the Lion Bar for the award,” he submitted.
