President Bola Tinubu has announced a cash reward of $100,000 for each Super Falcons player who represented Nigeria at the just-concluded 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
In addition to the cash gift, each player will receive a three-bedroom apartment at the Renewed Hope Housing Estate in Abuja. The President also revealed that the players will be conferred with national honours—specifically the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
In an unprecedented display of love and admiration, Nigerian millionaires and celebrities have come together to shower the Super Falcons with gifts, presenting 35 brand-new SUVs to commemorate their record-breaking 10th WAFCON title!
