Uniben Faculty of Management Sciences to honour Alenkhe, others

Come Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024, all roads will lead to the main campus of the University of Benin in Ugbowo.

That day the the Faculty of Management Sciences of the University, will be honouring a horde of celebrities and high networth individuals that it would be giving special recognition through the award of merit and induction into its hall of fame.

In a statement signed by Professor Augustine Enofe, the Dean of the Faculty, the names listed include Engr. Tunde Ehizoje, Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, former Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Agriculture; Olorogun (Prof) Rukevwe Ugwumba, Bishop Matthew Okpebholo, Amaju Melvin Pinnick, former NFF President and Dr. Festus Alenkhe, Chairman of the Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ).

Others are Hon. Anamero Sunday Dekeri, the member representing Etsako Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives; Senator Ovie Omo Agege; Prince Nduka Obaigbena, Publisher of Thisday Newspaper and CEO of Arise TV; Dr. Fatai Aliu, Engr. Kestin Pondi, Barrister Obukowvo John Nani, Paul Uche Didi, Harrison Agboro and Prince Alex Ekhorutomwen.

Also on the list are Felix Nwanbuko, County Director, SAIT; Dr Samuel Ogbuku, MD, NDDC; Hon Monday Igbuya, former Speaker Delta State House of Assembly; Dr. Dennis Otuaro, Administrator, Presidential Amnesty Programme and Dr Paddy Emmanuel Iyamu.

The event, which is slated to take place at the Professor Festus Iyayi Hall in the new Faculty of Management Sciences, will commence at exactly 10am.
