Every tenure of elected executives of the Nigeria Union of Journalists leadership Community, Edo State Council, end with new objective to elect new leaders, but had never had too many courageous ones over time.

Few months from now, a new decision await members who had been bereaved of quality representations.

Lately, concerns over the underperforming union executives have got members interest, widening at geometric progression.

Most have complained of same cycle of political journalists rotating the leadership within few individuals without clear objectives.

And now, the burning desires to halt such trend is growing.

The implication is that, members who desire quality representations are tabling their plights through concerted efforts to elect few individuals with daring factors.

It is a memorial thought that, the bird dares to break the shell, then the shell breaks open and the bird can fly openly.

This is the simplest principle of success. You dream, you dare andyou fly.

FESTUS ALENKHE is a few years away from attaining his three decades at a profession he dared even at a younger Journalist.

He is preparing assiduously with renewed vigor to break the shell with a view to build a new trust, members can validly call its own.

Alenkhe believes that, as a leader, you have a responsibility and need to develop others to succeed in their roles and prepare for future roles.

Besides, he is also convinced that, Effective leaders live by strong values that guide their decisions and behaviors.

Alenkhe, who was speaking during the second leg match between Bendel Insurance Football Club and Apex Kranes Football Club of Agbor, Delta State at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, said, Effective leaders think outside the box to come up with innovative solutions to business problems, and creative ways to reach business goals.

The man with the sobriquet, “how you they feel now” of the solo crime watch a program widely viewed across homes in the state, rewarded the scorer of the only goal of the match for the home team, with Twenty Thousand Naira, Maurice Prince, encouraged the team to continue to do well in all its matches.

It is obvious that, quest for true leadership, within the NUJ Community will prove the real deal in the provision of quality representation which the aforementioned represents.

And Members must know that, once you can write an alphabet, you can write a book of 100 million pages. It’s just a matter of believing it as possible, as they take the cross millimeter by millimeter.

TEAM FESTUS ALENKHE
