All is now set for the President Federation Cup round of 16 as former WAFU-Champions Edo Queens FC of Benin City face their sister counterpart Delta Queens FC of Asaba in a South- South derby.

The highly anticipated game will be played on Tuesday June, 2nd 2026, at the Awka Township Stadium Awka, Anambra State. Kickoff time is 4pm.

It is a match were the Moses Aduku tutored side would want to show their superiority and supremacy over their Delta State counterpart led by Coach Seyi Stanley Osaze.

Incidentally, Coach Seyi was one time head coach of Edo Queens, this is why focus will be on the game which to Edo Queens is fight to finish and a must win battle.

Previous records have shown that the Moses Aduku side have always had an overwhelming victory against Delta Queens. Therefore, in this particular encounter, Edo Queens have the power to hurt Delta Queens in Tuesday’s round of 16 PFC.

Both teams will definitely parade quality players, but (Edo Queens) are really dangerous and are ready to beat any team. To achieve this, they have to keep their form and also maintain consistency. It might interest you to know that what has kept them moving is putting the collective ahead of the individual.

The players are confident they have what it takes to reach the final and win the cup. As they also prepare for the NWFL Super, holding next week in the City of Port Harcourt, they have been charged to use the PFC Cup to send a message to other teams participating in the Super 6.

For Edo Queens supporters, they are looking up to the entire squad to produce good results in both the PFC domestic showpiece and the Super 6 championship.

The team have also be greatly motivated, so their focus now is on the trophies.
Moreso, after a win over Delta Queens on Tuesday, the red- hot ladies will depart Awka on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026 to Rivers State for the big NWFL Super 6 showdown.
