N’Edo Gheria, a sociopolitical group, has expressed its condolences to the family of the departed ex-IGP, Solomon Ehigiator Arase.
National Convener of the group, Dr. Patrick Ebojele, in the message he signed said that the deceased was a man who meaned so many good things to different people and who as well served humanity well in his days on earth.
“Solomon Arase, your sudden departure came as a rude shock to everyone especially considering that your departure is considered to be at the trajectory of your life assignment.
“Your expertise and professional conduct and innovations you brought into policing of our great country still speak of you even in the days of retirement from office. There was always a professional advice coming from you at any encounter and we are assured that your footprints would be etched on the sands of time.
“We’re saying adieu to you until we will meet to part no more. Indeed, you were a super cup.The sweet memories of whom you were continues to linger on.”
According to media reports, Arase died in the early hours of Sunday, August 31st in a Abuja based hospital after a brief illness.
