Patricia Betty Okoebor Benson, the newly inaugurated Caretaker Committee Woman leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, shortly after her inauguration on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, revealed her drive to work for the good of the party to actualize and reclaim the its mandate in the State.

She reiterated her resolve to work for the good of the party, to uplift the position of youths and women in the state and make the APC visible and virile, adding, “Our women are hardworking. Our mindset is to take APC to the next level. With God on my side, I will do whatever I can to impact on the lifestyle of women and youths in the state.”

She noted that women have been divinely created by God to be dutiful and trustworthy in homes or in their official capacity, hence, the resolve to tap into this divine resource to work for the betterment of the party and the state in general, in her new official capacity.

Against the backdrop of the inauguration of the caretaker committee in Edo State by Col. David Imuse (Rtd) with the mandate to revitalize the party, it should be noted that the Mai Mala Buni led APC (National Caretaker Chairman) and Governor Yobe State, had earlier dissolved all executive and standing committees to pave way for the inauguration of caretaker committees in the 36 states of the federation and Abuja, to help refocus the party and ensure a high membership drive.
