Leadership of Coalition of Benin Socio Cultural Organisations has heaped thanks on President Muhammadu Buhari for bestowing a national honour on the Benin Monarch, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare 11, N’Ogidigan.
Highpoint of the group’s statement went thus, “His Royal Majesty,
Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpọlokpolo, Oba Ewuare II,
Oba of Benin Kingdom, will be honoured with Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) by President Mohammadu Buhari on the 11th of October, 2022 in Abuja, Nigeria.
“In light of the aforementioned development, we want graciously and joyfully congratulate our most powerful King in the world and the good people of Benin Kingdom for a well deserved honour.
“We sincerely thank Mr. President for the honour done on our revered Palace, Throne and entire Benin Kingdom.
“Once again, we say a big congratulations to the great Benin People.”
