The Board of Trustees(BOT), Executive Committee and members of the Esan Descendants Advancement Forum(EDAF) is set to honour chairman of the Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), Comrade Festus Alenkhe.
In an invitation letter to the Esan Unity Summit sent to Alenkhe, the group said that it has “followed with keen interest your superlative journalism achievements in investigative Crime Reportage which has been recognized by your professional colleagues by electing you as the State Chairman of NUJ.
“We have therefore decided to confer on you the following award: EDAF AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN CRIME REPORTING.
“We would be very glad to have you join us at the Unity Summit where this award will be formally conferred on you in the presence of the Enigies of Esanland, the créme of our elite, our members and numerous distinguished guests.”
The event is scheduled for 12.00 noon, Saturday, 16th April, 2022. The venue is Dominion Hotels and Suites, New Agbor Road, Uromi.
