All is set for the 2024 edition of the annual lecture/award ceremony of the Department of Human Resources, Faculty of Management Sciences of the University of Benin.
The lecture with the theme, Managing Work Place Stress In a Depressed Economy coupled with the award ceremony comes up by 10am on Friday, November 15th at the Professor Festus Iyayi Hall of the Ugbowo Campus of the University of Benin.
In a statement signed by Dr. (Mrs) E. Idubor, the Head of Department (HOD), she listed the awardees to be honoured on the faithful day as Hon. Anamero Sunday Dekeri, the member representing Etsako Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives; Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Lawani(Abu Millionaire); Emeritus Professor Friday Okonofua, former Vice Chancellor, University of Medical Sciences, Ondo State; Professor (Sir) Andrew Ogwu, Chief Osahon Airhunmwunde, Chief Blessing Ovbiye, Barrister Douglas Ogbankwa, Hon. Bright Iyamu, Prof. Roseline Osagie, Dr. Iyafekhe Christian and Princess (Dr) Joan Jummai Idonije.Â
Others include Harrison Agboro, Prof. Dafe Otobo, Aguebor Felix, Dr. Robinson Okoro, Osariemen Segun-Vincent, Valentine Asue, Managing Director DVD Oil and Gas; Chief Lucky Ohimai, Managing Director, Tarex Lounge; Hon. E. To be honoured posthumously is Prof. Festus Iyayi, a reknown academician, who in his life time lectured at the University of Benin.
