High Chief Pere Ejune, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Ofunama Ward in Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State, has congratulated the newly sworn-in Deputy Governor of the state, Hon. Marvelous Omobayo Godwins.
In his message of goodwill to Hon. Godwins, Chief Ejune stated that his coming onboard as the Deputy Governor of Edo State barely seven months to the end of the present administration is a good omen.
Saying that his combination with Governor Godwin Obaseki is a Godsent that will lift the state to higher grounds and bring forth the good dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
According to Chief Ejune: “The emergence of Hon. Marvelous Omobayo Godwins as the deputy governor of Edo State is divine. It is a Godsent. Coming about 7 months to the end of the present administration it is a good omen and will undoubtedly lift the state to higher grounds.
“It will also bring forth the good dividends of democracy to the people of the acclaimed hearbeat state whose seed Governor Obaseki has been sowing in the last seven and half years of his assumption of office.”
Chief Ejune in conclusion asserted that been a youth, Hon. Godwins will be a good representative of the youths who over time have always agitated for such.
