The Okpebholo girls gave good account of themselves, by proving their superiority over Bayelsa Princesses, whose aim was to spoil the party for the Benin ladies.

The newly recruited, lanky and dangling striker Atume Doosuur, broke the jinx for the Edo representatives in 37th minute of play, through a penalty kick.

In the 53rd minute she increased the tally to two goals bringing in more confidence and stability to her teammates.
