As Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), regular season comes to an end tomorrow, former Champions Edo Queens FC will on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026, at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, lock horns with their South -South arch-rivals Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt in Match Day 18 derby to wrap up the 2025/26 (NWFL) premiership season.

Having played a 1-1 draw against Ibom Angels at home last week Wednesday, the Coach Moses Aduku – led Queens have long qualified for the Super 6.

This eagerly anticipated premier encounter between Edo Queens and Rivers Angels on Wednesday is most likely going to be a pre – Super 6 rehearsal game as both teams get ready for yet another titanic battle in the Super 6 title campaign.
