Edo State chapter of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists(NAWOJ), has congratulated newly elected officials to run the affairs of the association at the national level for the next three years.
In a congratulatory message signed by the chairperson, Comrade Adesuwa Ehimuan she urged them to be magnanimous in victory by carrying everyone along and embarking on policies that would better the lot of female Journalists across the country.
She enjoined them to always exhibit the spirit of sisterhood and unity of purpose at all times. The body prayed God to give the new NAWOJ national executives led by Mrs Ladi Bala wisdom to pilot the affairs of the association and take it to an enviable height.
Mrs. Ehimuan also thanked Edo NAWOJIANS for their unflinching support and prayers and above all God for a successful journey to the 10th Triennial delegates conference held in Minna, Niger State.
The statement encouraged Edo women journalists to be cooperative and move the association forward as there is strength in unity.
