Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) leaders of ward 9 Ofunama in Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State, have stand firm in support of the state governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki for what they described as his chain of achievements.
The leaders – High Chief Pere Ejune(Baminepere IV of Egbema Kingdom), Hon. Solo Erebimi, Hon. Nike Edah, Hon. Kariemi Ekakumor and others – said that wherever Obaseki goes they will accompany him as they are certain that he means well for Edo State.
“About eight years ago, Governor Obaseki assumed office with promises of initiating laudable projects which he has adhered to and which has made the state the cynosure of all eyes.
“We are fully with him in all his undertakings. He has, by his actions, thus far shown that he is a true son of Edo State who desires the best for its residents and more.
“Obaseki will also be remembered for his numerous policies geared towards bettering the lots of the people and placing the state on sure footing for a better future for the generation to come.”
They also endorsed the aspirations of Barrister Asue Ighodalo to succeed Governor Obaseki come November 12th “he means well for the people of Edo State and we are queuing up behind him.”
