President of Benin Solidarity Movement (BSM) worldwide, a socio-political awareness group, Elder Curtis Eghosa Ugbo, has condoled the leadership and members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Edo State chapter on the demise of one of its members, Mr. Ezekiel Isesele, who passed on last Saturday morning.
Elder Ugbo described the late Isesele as a thoroughbred reporter who does his job with passion and whose trademark smile will be missed for eternity.
“I got in contact with Ezekiel Isesele in the course of propagating my ideals as a rights activist who is majorly concerned about addressing the ills of society as it relates to governance and also fighting for the advancement of my Benin cum Edo people.
“In all my crusade I had an ally in Isesele who always gave me a listening ear and go ahead to publish my reports without any qualms in adherence to the ethics of the journalism creed.
“I am certain that as at this moment, Isesele is sitting on the right arm of the Lord. He has no doubt gone beyond to rest from his years of labour.
“We, are of the Benin Solidarity Movement, wish to state without any bias that we are in tandem with any positive steps that the Edo NUJ would deem appropriate to mitigate the effect of Isesele’s sudden departure on members of his immediate family.
“We console with the immediate family and the entire NUJ family for the great loss, and wish him eternal rest in peace.”
