On the 22nd July, 2022, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar granted an interview to Arise TV as the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. Speaking through his campaign organization, Tinubu described Atiku Abubakar as: A desperate liar who should never be trusted; a man who is not prepared for the job he is applying for; a man who cannot be trusted with our commonwealth; a law breaker who cheated the system by doing extra work as a custom officer among other accusations.
But he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. Bola Ahmed Tinubu(BAT) and his media team came to equity with stained and smelly hands. Overwhelmed by the superlative performance of Atiku Abubakar on Arise TV interview, Tinubu and his media handlers resorted to trivialities carefully avoiding the extremely presidential meat or substance of the interview. With the avalanche of falsifications about his entire life, who is the desperate liar? A man who cannot come clean about his age, schools attended, educational certificates is a pathological liar who must not be trusted with public office.
Tinubu has a huge unfavorable perception index arising from dubious mystery surrounding vital aspects of his life. Some netizens have argued that supporting Tinubu is the most difficult task to undertake. You will have to defend his age. He claims to be 70 years old whereas unassailable records shows he is 87 years old having been born in 1935. You will have to defend his health because he claims to be well whereas there are evidence of dementia, Parkinsons disease and slurred speech. You will also have to defend his educational certificates as he claims not to have attended primary and secondary schools; and his degree certificate carted away by the military. You will have to defend his crime records having been charged for drug offences in the USA. You must also defend his name having metamorphosed from Yekini Amoda Ogunlere to Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The list of issues to be defended are endless. His state of origin, Bullion van debacle, muslim/muslim ticket, Endsars Lekki killings, fake bishops episode, are all sore points or red flags about him. When he called Atiku a desperate liar who should never be trusted, given these avalanche of falsifications about his entire life, who is the desperate liar? A man who cannot come clean about his age, schools attended and educational certificates is a pathological liar who must not be trusted with public office.

Tinubu asserted that Atiku cannot be trusted with our commonwealth. While he points one finger at Atiku Abubakar, four other fingers point back at him. For a man who has virtually acquired the entire Lagos State, it amounts to abysmal hypocrisy to so claim. I am quite sure that in the next edition of Guinness Book of World Records Tinubu will emerge as the World Biggest Landlord. Talking about law breaking, who is the law breaker between Atiku, who merely engaged in transport business while serving as a customs officer, and a drug pusher who had to forteit many assets in the United States of America as a result of drug offenses?
A presidential contest reveals who you are. If a candidate is erratic and threatening, if a candidate traffics in prejudice, fears and lies on the trail, if a candidate has no clear plans on how to implement their goals, if they disrespect their fellow citizens including folks who make extraordinary sacrifices for our country, that is who they are. That is the kind of president they would be(Michelle Obama).
Bola Ahmed Tinubu would certainly be a president Nigeria does not need.
