Abure is a green snake under the green grass, says LP Chieftain

A chieftain of the Labour Party(LP), Chief Patrick Eholor(aka Ultimate Equal), who is the party’s Director of Contact and Mobilisation in the Diaspora, has described the party’s National Chairman, Barrister Julius Abure, as a green snake under the green grass.

He was speaking in view of what he alleged to be the underground moves by Abure to pocket the party and dictate the tunes of what obtains against the wish of the collective.

According to him, the issue currently rocking the Labour Party is greed spearheaded by Barrister Julius Abure who has been accused of forgery, manipulation, embezzlement, corruption, siphoning of money etc.

“I have been covering up for him not in the bad sense because he is a friend. A friend in need is a friend indeed. I have been advicing him but he is deaf because he is corruption drunk. I wonder how people are comfortable speaking in front of the camera trying to condemn things that they enjoy doing behind the scenes.

“He will never attend meetings. He will never let you attend meetings. He wants to be a dictator. That’s if it is not his way there is no other way. I have told him that if I go against him I will expose him. He has become an embarrassment to the LP. The party has become a party of the highest bidder with no sincerity.

“I don’t know why Peter Obi has been very mute. One is wondering if he is on the side of the people or Abure. I am allergic to injustice. I cannot keep mute any longer.”

Going further, Eholor stated: “We’re supposed to do the party congress a few days from now but Abure has refused to call for the congress. He wants to buy the delegates. There are going to be lots of implications.

“He doesn’t practice what he preaches. It is going to be a lot of tussle in the courts. I am really feeling for the aspirants who thinks he is going to deliver them becauss he is the National Chairman. He can’t do it.”
