Town planners plan collaboration with Edo State Govt

Chairman of the Edo State Chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Town Planners, Inanigie Abudu, has promised that the body will commence collaborating with the state government in advocacy of its chains of sustainable programmes in the communities.

He made the promises on the occasion of the out gone executives handing over to his newly elected team in the association’s secretariat in Benin City.

In his acceptance message, Inanigie said: “There is going to be advocacy, public enligtenment. We are going to partner with the government to ensure that the advocacy is taken to a very higher level other than the usual thing.”

He gave kudos to his predecessor, Hope Iyawe for his yeoman job in ensuring that the association gets a sounding footing by way of his many laudable projects.

In his words of encouragement, Joshua Akin Olorunfemi, an elder of the association, praised Iyawe for his achievements in office while charging the new exco to ensure that all members are incorporated into the activities of the body.

In his speech, the former chairman, Hope Iyawe, enumerated his team’s achievements in office and thanked members for the support they gave.

Members of the new exco led by Inanigie includes Dr. Adegboyega Maiseyi Collins(Vice Chairman); Lucky Unuirode Okao(General Secretary); Kelly Ugiagbe(Treasurer); Kingsley Esan Akhigbe(Financial Secretary); Bernard Oshiemokhai(Public Relations Officer) and George Osagiede(Auditor).
