We will support your fight against quacks and quackery, group promises Alenkhe

Edo State Media Executives Forum, a group made up of executives of media establishments in Edo State, has promised to support the Comrade Festus Alenkhe led executives of the state council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in its “decision to sanitize the journalism profession in the state with extermination of
quacks and quackery from the union.”

This was contained in a congratulatory message signed by its President, Bimbo Oyetunde and the Secretary, Peace Ifidon, that the group sent to Comrade Alenkhe on his victory in the council polls held on Friday, December 17th, 2021.

According to the group, “Your election and those of your team, is a testimony of members’ acceptance of your personality and your people union friendly
manifesto.

“As administrators of the different media organisations in the state, we assure your exco of the forum’s support especially your decision to sanitize the journalism profession in the state with extermination of quacks and quackery from the union in Edo State.

“Kindly accept the assurances of our highest regards.”
