In her own submission, Lucy Akumabo, an aide of the Kogi State Governor, Yaya Bello, who represented him at the occasion, called on the youths to unite in 2023 to vote in a youth as President of the country.

She said that it is the only solution to the myriad of problems confronting the country and the only way to cause a generational change for the advancement of Nigeria.

According to her, Tompolo is well loved by the people of the Niger Delta region who consider him as a hero. She urged the youths not to despair as a solution to Nigeria’s problems is in sight.

Earlier that day the Warri city centre went agog as hordes of people from different parts of the country congregated in a peace walk round the major streets of the city, some wearing colourful Tee-Shirts and carrying banners on which was emblazoned the picture of the celebrant.

The train finally berthed at celebrity hangout, KFT Place where there was surplus drinks and sonorous music by Ijaw music icon, Barrister Smooth even as speaker after speaker poured encomium on the acclaimed ‘General Officer Commanding(GOC)’ of the defunct Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND).
