Alhaji Aliru Momoh, Ikelebe III, the Otaru of Auchi Kingdom in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, has affirmed his support for the emergence of Labour Party(LP) gubernatorial hopeful, Barrister Kenneth Imansuangbon (aka The Riceman) as the governor of the state in 2024.
He was speaking on Sunday morning at his Palace when Barrister Imansuangbon paid him a condolence visit on the death of Alhaji Ado Ibrahim, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland.
The Otaru described Barrister Imansuangbon as a man of the people who will get the support of the generality of Edolites as a result of his large heart in attending to the needs of the people especially through his rice sharing activities every year.
According to the monarch, the members of the traditional council of Edo State have agreed that it’s the turn of the Esans of Edo Central Senatorial District to produce the next governor of the state in 2024. He affirmed his belief in fairplay, honesty and justice.
He stressed that he is of the firm opinion that Barrister Imansuangbon would do much more for the people of Edo State when he becomes their governor next year.
Going further, the monarch said: “The real prayer is your good deeds to the people. This is the time that the people of Edo State will pay you back for all your good deeds to them.”
During a stop over at the harvest ceremony of St. James Catholic Church, Waterboard, Auchi, the presiding priest, Reniuse Ikhaine stated that the good deeds of Barrister Imansuangbon would see him through all the obstacles that may be blocking his way to the Edo State Government House in 2024.
