Wike will succeed President Buhari, group predicts

President Muhammadu Buhari has been advised to prepare to handover to Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike of Rivers State who will succeed him in 2023.

A group, Wike Volunteer Network(WVN), announced this in a statement on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022.

The statement endorsed by its Coordinator General, Solomon Okoduwa, urged the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) delegates to nominate Governor Wike and endorse him to fly the flag of the party in the presidential election in 2023.

While punching holes on the policies of PMB, Okoduwa said, “It is very clear that President Muhammadu Buhari has failed Nigerians and has betrayed the youths.

“Buhari’s policies over the years made lives of Nigerians, especially the youths, very difficult. Prices of foodstuffs have skyrocketed, education is down as the government has not been able to find long and lasting solutions to the lingering crisis between ASUU and FG.

“Nigeria transport system, the roads, rail and air, have gone up beyond the reach of the ordinary people. Diesel, fuel and cooking gas are now beyond the reach of Nigerians. Look at insecurity, no where is safe in our country, and the man we thought was a general with military experience became docile and lost focus in governance,”
he stated.

Okoduwa said the country needs a focused, energetic, pragmatic and courageous leader irrespective of political affiliation that will take us out of these myriad of challenges.

According to him, “Wike Volunteer Network, a coalition, has set up modalities to mobilise, galvanise and support the most qualified man in the race which is His Excellency Governor Nyesom Wike(aka Mr Project).

“The man has transformed Rivers State beyond human comprehension. A dogged and fearless leader whose developmental strides speak volume.

“We, as a group, will not relent until we achieve our aim.”
