Support Tinubu, Oba of Benin charge governors

Information reaching our desk just now is that Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki is fighting the biggest fight of his life ahead of the forthcoming state House of Assembly polls coming up on Saturday, March 18th, barely a week from today.

Insiders revealed that the governor is fighting the war from all angles using all the weapons he has at his disposal. He has employed some journey men ranging mostly of civil servants, government contractors, families of government officials etc.

As it is now the Governor has held high level meetings with civil servants under the state employ whom he has instructed on the steps to take to ensure victory for his preferred candidates at the March 18th polls. He was said to have issued yards of clothes to junior civil servants.

He also reportedly lavished millions of naira in cash and gift items on his targeted voters. In one instance he reportedly doled out millions of naira to communities while persuading them to vote for PDP candidates.

Also he has hit back hard at his predecessor, Senator-Elect Adams Oshiomhole and the Vice Chairman of the PDP in the South South region, Chief Dan Orbih, whom he accused of engaging in a campaign of calumny against him and his administration.
