“We have to protest fine. But when it becomes negative, uncontrollable that’s where the consequences would not be good for our generation now and our generation to come,” he stated while speaking on the recent nationwide #endsars protest.

On the recent change of leadership in the State House of Assembly, Ephraim, who represents Igueben constituency, said: “It is all about change. We can sit down and decide what we want to do in as much as that is done democratically.

“We are all elected, we are all representatives of the different constituencies. A speaker is just first among equals. We deemed it necessary to change our leadership because we get feelers from our constituents when we now feed that feelers into what we have in the house it enables us to make our decision. We needed to have a change and that’s what we did.”

Reacting to the debate that the Presidential system of government as presently been practiced in Nigeria is too expensive, Ephraim said: “Government is big business. No form of government that is actually cheap.

“All forms of government is expensive. It depends on how you structure the government to achieve your aims and objectives.”
