Turin as host city of Special Winter Games

Turin is an elegant and culturally endowed city surrounded by greenery with more than 300km of tree lined avenues and numerous parks.

It is crossed by the Po River, at the foot of which lies the most famous historic rowing clubs, and it is protected by the enchanting Western Alpine Arc.

Turin is the first capital of Italy. It has both ancient and modern history, the royal residences, parks and trees lined avenues.

The city offers historic restaurants and cafes, long porticoed streets and multi ethnic neighborhoods, major events and many have always made it unique and interesting.

It balances rational Roman urban planning, the measured splendor of Piedmontese Baroque, and the originality of modern and contemporary architecture.

Turin cannot be discovered once, rather it can be discovered step by step, even by walking its streets  and squares with one’s head held high and above all, it is to be experienced.

In addition, there are things to be seen, to be done and to be tasted. After hosting the 2022 Special Olympics National Summer Games, Turin has again been chosen to host the 2025 Special Olympics World Games scheduled for 8 – 15 March 2025 in Italy.
