Barrister Mathew Barnabas Uboyi, the Commandant of the Edo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has poured encomium on the Publisher of People’s Security Monitor(PSM), Isiaka Mustapha, for highlighting the achievements of the Commandant General of the corp, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi in his book, “Through The Eyes of The Media” adding that to whom much is given much is expected.
Barrister Uboyi spoke when Mustapha presented two copies of the publication to him at a brief ceremony held in the Conference Room of the Command in Benin City last Thursday morning which was attended by members of the Command’s Management team.
According to Mustapha, the publication, which is the outstanding second year sheet of the first tenure of Dr. Audi, is meant to celebrate him
According to Mustapha: “We are here to celebrate a man who has been contributing immensely to the growth of his fatherland. We are here to celebrate one of the most patriotic Nigerians who of course has been passionate about the security of his fatherland.
“We are here to celebrate the achievements of a frontline security personality who has indeed helped in no small measure to restore security and peace and rescue Nigerians and Nigeria from the claws of agents of insecurity at the much needed time.”
Mustapha asserted that his decision to write the book “was informed by the unprecedented impressive revolutionary changes that Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi administration has recorded in the totality of the NSCDC since he assumed duties more than two years ago.
“Of course, he has consistently described these feats as ‘collective accomplishments’ of all the officers and men of the NSCDC including that of your distinguished command.”
