He stressed the need for enhanced collaboration, streamlined processes, and sharper implementation of plans in every operational zone.

This command was delivered during a high-level session at the State House in Abuja, reflecting the administration’s push to calm unrest in volatile areas and secure tranquility during the upcoming holiday period.

Key attendees included National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu; Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Olufemi Oluyede; Chief of Army Staff Lt.-Gen. Wahidi Shaibu; Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Idi Abbas; Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Kelvin Aneke; Chief of Defence Intelligence Lt.-Gen. Emmanuel Undiadeye; Director-General of the Department of State Services Oluwatosin Ajayi; and Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed.

Gen. Oluyede, briefing reporters afterward, called the discussion “highly interactive” and assured the public of noticeable improvements in safety and steadiness in the near future, especially as the yuletide approaches.

The session continues the President’s series of security consultations, building on his recent proclamation of a national security emergency to counter escalating dangers nationwide.
