Former Media Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan and Chairman of Omooba Kenneth Aigbegbele(OKA) Foundation, has attacked Barrister Kenneth Imansuangbon(aka the Riceman) on the speculation that he has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) for the APC or Labour Party (LP).
The APC chieftain said: “I read the story about ‘Riceman’ planning to move to the APC. I am strongly warning him to remain in his party, the PDP, because there are no vacancies in APC. We don’t need his type in APC.”
According to the civil society activist “politicians should have integrity in whatever they do or find their hands doing work assiduously with party stalwarts to develop the party and for the betterment of the people rather than running and jumping from one party to another all for a mesh of porridge.”
Omooba Aigbegbele, who hails from Esan Central in Edo State, disclosed that he is eyeing the APC governorship ticket in Edo State in 2024.
“Those that are dreaming of dumping their party for other parties should have a rethink because there are party faithfuls that have worked so hard to develop the party and would not accept moles and fifth columnists from any other platforms,” he concluded.
