Barrister Afolabi Olayiwola has described the Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC) and Trade Union Congress(TUC) inspired strike action today as a sign of a failed system.

“Ordinarily, the strike ought not to have been because there is a court order and if judiciary staff cannot obey a court order it shows it is a failed system and if it escalates it becomes a problem.

“If other sector goes on strike the judiciary arm ought not to have embark on it and they are aware of the court and that why I am worried.”

On the attack on the NLC President in Owerri, “to me, an injury to one is an injury to others. Since there is a court order the judiciary arm ought to have respect that order.”

In his own submission, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor (aka Ultimate Equals), the President of the One Love Foundation, said: “As regards the NLC and TUC strike, Nigeria has had enough of them. Nigerians have realized the power that they have. They are not organised. They’re very disorganised. None of the NLC past presidents have done anything good for Nigeria other than late Michael Imoudu. May his soul rest in peace.

“Oshiomhole, who said he was NLC President at a stage, was a scam. When Joe Ajaero(NLC President) was beaten mercilessly by the police and thugs in Imo State under the supervision of the state governor, Hope Uzodinma, Oshiomhole couldn’t say anything because when Oshiomhole was the national chairman of the APC that was when they did their magic when they took Hope Uzodinma from the fourth position to become Governor of Imo State that destroyed Imo State today.

“For me, I think Nigerians shouldn’t listen to Joe Ajaero over NLC or TUC strike because these guys are merchants of misery. They’re not helping the ordinary drivers and conductors in the street. They don’t know about Nigerians welfare. NLC are supposed to be there to protect the Nigeria workers welfare.

“They don’t know anything about that. What they do is to have an unholy romance with government and collect Ghana Must Go like Adams Oshiomhole.”
