The family of Dekeri of Ogute – Oke, Okpella in Etsako East Local Govt Area of Edo State, has released the burial programme of its patriarch, Chief James Sunday Dekeri, who passed on at the age of 90years.
Wednesday, November 15th marks the Service of Songs at his residence in Okugbe, Okpella. Time 4.00pm
The following day, Thursday, November 16th body departs Notre Dame Mortuary, Afowa Uzairue to his home town, Ogute – Oke, Okpella for lying in state. Time 10.00am.
While on Friday, November 17th interment and reception takes place at Anamero Idofe. Anamero Foundation Headquarters, Ogute – Oke, Okpella. Time 11.00am.
Chief Dekeri is the father of Anamero Dekeri, the member representing Etsako in the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja, who is also in contention for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Edo State governorship poll coming up in September 2024.
There are talks that the programme will be attended by some notable colleagues of the lawmaker across party lines and other high networth individuals from all parts of the country and even beyond.
Popular News also learnt that some choice hospitality facilities have been fully booked ahead of the arrival of the guests for the programme.
