Social crusader gives thumbs up to US govt for visa ban on perpetrators of electoral violence

President of the One Love Foundation, a non-governmental organisation and social crusader, Chief Patrick Eholor, has given his support to the visa ban placed on those involved in the electoral violence and other vices that characterised the gubernatorial polls in Kogi and Bayelsa States late last year.

In a chat with your soaraway Popular News online news portal, Eholor stated that it(the visa ban) is a welcome development and “the most sincere thing the American government has done for Nigeria.”

He said: “It’s a welcome development. I honestly think it is the most sincere thing the American Government has done for Nigeria. I think the European Union should also follow suit to restrain all Nigerian politicians who have been involved since our Nigerian democracy.

“There have to be a sanction for anyone who have been involved in the past or present. They have to ban their family from entering America or any of the European countries 

“This will serve as a deterrent for present and future politicians. They should go further more to seize their asset any where in the world because what they are doing is criminal and banditry.

“Also, they should extend the ban to some of our notorious pastors and some of our notorious army officials and all ministries and institutions including customs and police for human right violations and  theft.

“America should use their military intelligence and we would support them with our whistle blowers to give them information required to nail this bandits so we can have a better society. 

“So, the exodus of refugees will stop. We don’t need their foreign aid. If they can assit us with this, a better Nigeria is possible.”
