Come Monday, October 27th, 2025, the train of the Dr. Osahon Enabulele Foundation(DOEF) sponsored debate for Secondary Schools in Edo State berths in Etsako West Local Government Council Hall.
The contest, which commences by 11am, will have contestants drawn from participating schools from the six (6) local government areas that make up Edo North; viz: Akoko-Edo, Etsako West, Etsako Central, Etsako East, Owan East and Owan West slugging it out in a thrilling contest to determine which school will represent the district at the grand finale slated to be held on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025, inside the prestigious John Odigie Oyegun Public Service Academy(JOOPSA) Hall in Benin City.
The maiden edition of the state-wide contest kicked-off on Friday, 30th May, at the Egor Local Government Council Secretariat located by Uselu Market.
Since then the contest train has gone round all the 12 local government areas that make up Edo South and Edo Central district with the six local government areas that make up the Edo North District being the last in the series before the grand finale.
Tagged Dr. Osahon Enabulele Foundation Secondary Schools’ Debate Competition, it is powered by the Dr. Osahon Enabulele Foundation(DOEF) in collaboration with the Edo State Ministry of Education, State Secondary Education Board(SSEB), and the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
Dr. Osahon Enabulele, the Director General(DG) of DOEF, who is the Past President of the World Medical Association(WMA) and the Commonwealth Medical Association (CMA) is giving an open invitation to the public to grace the epoch event which is one of his pillars of giving back to the society.
