“It has never been this good. Okpebholo has shown that he has the capacity to make life much better for the people of the state. Within his anticipated eight years in office he would have turned Edo to Lagos,” a member of the opposition who preferred anonymity so as not to be accused of anti party posture stated.

In Onewa, Joshua Osezele, a resident of the locality gave thumbs up to Governor Okpebholo for his proactive approach to governance.

“We are happy over the work going on in Esanland. We are happy with the level of construction work in Onewa. Work is going on daily. We want to thank Governor Okpebholo for what he has been doing for us.

“We pray the Lord give you more grace to continue the good deeds. We also pray that you don’t end as a governor. The Lord will take you higher. Keep up the good work.”

Osezele recounted that before Governor Okpebholo’s intervention in addressing the very poor state of the road it was a hell on earth for the locals who went through hazardous experiences while trying to navigate from one community to the other.

He averred that unlike what was obtainable in the past where properties owners in the locality abandoned their properties and took a flight to far flung areas, people are now returning to Onewa and environs to reclaim their properties.

Another resident William Mathew poured encomium on Governor Okpebholo for his tireless pursuit of the tenents of good governance plus his people centric ideals.
