The Midwest Bar Forum’s attention have just been drawn to a disclaimer purportedly issued by some faceless individuals against the Forum’s Notice of its Quarterly General Meeting slated to hold in Benin City on 25th March, 2023.
Ordinarily, the Forum would not have bothered itself to dignify the rabble-rousers with a response. However we thought it wise and expedient, as a responsible organization, to debunk the Claims of the charlatans in order to set the record straight.
There is no doubt that there is only one indissoluble and undisputed Midwest Bar Forum under the able leadership of Chief G.C. Igbokwe, SAN FCIArb.uk
What these faceless characters tend to achieve with their purported disclaimer is a ploy to seek relevance and cheap publicity and we as a Forum condemn this very ignoble action in its strongest term.
May we use this medium to ask these renegades to come back to the fold , as the Forum is large enough to accommodate all.
We ask the general public to disregard the message sent by these group of friends on WhatsApp, as the Midwest Bar Forum has a succession trajectory, G.C. Igbokwe SAN,FCIarb UK., took over from Chike Onyememan SAN in a ceremony in Asaba, Delta State on Saturday, 18th December, 2021, at the Delta House of Assembly Complex, Asaba , Delta State.
The question is who did Prof. A.N. Inegbedion take over from?You can not put some thing on nothing, and expect it to stand .See UAC v. Macfoy (1964) A.C.
