As the countdown to the 2027 general elections commences, the debate about the need for the return of the Leader of the Federal House of Representatives, Professor Julius Ihonvbere, to his seat in the hallowed chambers has generated a lot of hues and cries even beyond his constituency, Owan Federal Constituency.
Amid all the hullabaloo, some of his constituents have seen beyond the pull him down syndrome game that some bad bellicks have resorted to hiding under the much talked about gentlemen agreement on rotational representation in the constituency.
One of the constituents in a recent post on a WhatsApp platform voiced his anger against the traducers of the former Ford Foundation Team Lead in Nigeria.
Describing the House Leader as a God sent to the entirety of the Owan Nation, the constituent averred: “He has done a lot yet they pretend that he has done nothing.
“He has given Owan people voices in the Federal Capital and has influenced instructions to Owan. He will do more if given a chance to continue.”
