Politician narrates hellish experience on murder of his cook

Hon. Magnus Desmond Igbas Ezehi, who was recently arrested by operatives of the Edo State Police Command, has given shocking details of the horror he went through over allegations of been the mastermind of the murder of his cook(Mary Atule) in his house in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State.

He disclosed that he knew nothing about the crime and that the chap who masterminded the crime was someone that benefitted immensely from the large heart of the victim.

He stated that anytime the chap, Atiku, comes visiting his brother, one Timothy whom he(Hon. Ezehi) gave free accommodation in his house, the deceased woman will always serve him sumptuous meal not minding that he does not live in the compound or work with him.

Ezehi stressed that he was in police detention at the Edo State Police Command Headquarters, Benin City, for four days before detectives rounded up the culprits and found him not culpable.

He disclosed that the hoodlums got access to his house when he was out of the premises to attend some consultations with his political associates on the night of the evil deeds when they attacked and killed his hardworking cook.

Hon. Ezehi described the act of the hoodlums as heinous, adding that they must face the full wrath of the law to atone for their evil deeds.

He promised that for being a very nice woman who showered those around her with love and tenderness the victim will be honoured with a befitting burial as soon as he and her family members agree on how to conduct her burial rites.

Hon. Igbas Ezehi is the immediate past Minority Whip of the Edo State House of Assembly having won election to represent Constituency 2 of Esan North East Local Government Area.
