The General Overseer of God Forgiveness Deliverance Ministry, Pastor Chris Evbaziegbere Egbon popularly known as the Spoken Prophet, has enjoined Nigerians to emulate Jesus Christ’s example of love and selflessness of offering himself as a sacrifice to redeem the world.

He said that the Easter period is not a time to fight one another but a time to love and live in peace with one another.

Pastor Egbon gave this charge in his message to mark the Easter celebration.

“This is not the time to mourn because Jesus Christ is no longer in the grave. He was killed over two thousand years ago and resurrected after 3days. Of all the prophets that has ever come to this world, it was only Jesus Christ that died and resurrected. And that is the most important aspect of Easter. Of all religion in the world today, it is believed that of a truth Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, died and rose again on the third day.”

Pastor Egbon who pointed out that a lot of things like sickness, kidnappings, banditry etc has taken centre stage all over the world prayed for God’s mercy and protection for Christians to witness many more Easter to come.

“I prophesy to as many that is reading this message. This will not be your last Easter. About 6 years ago, I prophesied that an unknown sickness will come. And that government will ask everyone to wash their hands before entering the church and every other places. I also said that government will ask people to cellotape their mouth. I believe the celotape represent the face mask of today.”

While stressing that Satan is bent on destroying the Earth by all means, Pastor Egbon urged everyone to seize the opportunity to give their life to Christ in other to survive tough times.

The General Overseer, who said that his ministry is hosting the Galilee Experience 2021 in conjunction with Independent Television and Radio noted that his church is fully prepared for the programme.

He urged participants in the programme to come with an expectation of a turn around for good as they will definitely meet with God.

“In Galilee Experience you will definitely meet with God and you will not go home the same. We don’t repeat prayer in my church and that is why we are called Just Like That.”
