The Federal Ministry of Sports Development has convened the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Post Games Audit and Review meeting for Tuesday, 24th September, 2024.
Those invited to the meeting are: President and Secretary General of Nigeria Olympic Committee(NOC) and Paralympic Committee of Nigeria (PCN); Presidents, Secretaries General, Technical Directors and coaches of all twelve sports to the Olympics and all four sports to the Paralympics; members of the ministerial podium performance committee; Heads of Technical Departments of the ministry.
The venue of the meeting is the Media Centre, Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja. Time is 11am.
In a related development ,the Ministry has announced an INVESTIGATIVE COMMITTEE ON THE VARIOUS NEGATIVE EXPOSURES TO THE COUNTRY AT THE 2024 OLYMPIC/PARALYMPIC GAMES.
In its quest to investigate various negative exposures to the country during the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, the ministry has constituted a 7 member committee to investigate such incidents.
The following are members of the committee: Dr Mumuni Alao (South West) Chairman; Aliyu Mohammed(NW)member; Hajia Rakiya Muhammed (NC)member; Godwin Enakhena(SS)member; Dr. Abubakar Ango(NE) member; Christy Opara(SE)member and Barrister Victor Okangbe(SS)Secretary
The committee will be inaugurated at 11 am on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 at the Media Centre, MKO Abiola Stadium Package A, Abuja. The committee’s terms of reference will be provided at the inauguration.
