The Technical Assistant to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on New Media, Hon. Philip Obin, has felicitated with christians in Nigeria and the world over on the occasion of Christmas.
Obin in a Christmas Message signed by his media aide, Kelvin Obambon, and made available to journalists on Thursday 24th December, 2020, stressed the need for christian faithful to always reflect on the essence which the birth of Christ symbolizes.
While avering that Christmas is a period for the renewal of hope, Obin urged Nigerians, especially the youths, not to be despaired over the seeming challenges confronting the country, affirming that the nation would come out of her present predicaments.
He said “What we need in a time like this is the renewal of hope, love for one another and trust”, which according to him, amplify the true meaning of Christmas.
The Presidential Aide, however, appealed to Christians to pray for the reign of peace and economic prosperity in the country while celebrating the Christmas.
