Members of the National Association of Postgraduate Students(NAPS), University of Benin, will on Friday, April 28th, 2023, be hosting the general public at its Oil and Gas Conference/Award Ceremony and book launch.
In a statement on behalf of the association, Chris Ovie (President) and Kessina Gbona(Secretary General) disclosed that the programme, slated for 10am at the Banquet Hall of the University of Benin main campus situated at Ugbowo, has as theme ‘The Oil and Gas Industry In a New Era.’
The triple status programme is billed to attract the creme-de-la-creme in the society.
Awardees on the occasion include His Excellency, Kingsley Otuaro, Deputy Governor, Delta State; Ojeiu Igbafen, Managing Director, Morzi Hotel & Suites; Prof. E. O. Aluyor (FNSE, FAEng), Vice Chancellor, Edo State University; Prof. Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye, Vice Chancellor, Igbinedion University; Mike Igini, former Resident Electoral Commissioner(REC) and Hon. Prof. Julius Ihonvbere (OON), member representing Owan Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
