A frontline governorship aspirant of the Labour Party(LP) in Edo State, Barrister Kenneth Imansuangbon(The Riceman), has assured members of the party that they would not regret voting for him at the party primary.
Barrister Imansuangbon said his emergence as the party’s governorship candidate remained the surest way for the party to take control of government.
Imansuangbon, in a statement issued in Benin City, said his administration would reward party loyalty. He assured that members of his cabinet and Special Assistants would comprise party loyalists from among the grassroots.
According to him, “My desire to govern Edo State is to empower the youths and generality of Edo people. I know many party members are neglected after elections but my time will be different.
“I will not go abroad to shop for Commissioners or political aides. I will use home grown politicians in the Labour Party because the problem we are coming to solve are with us.
The governorship hopeful further appealed to LP members to rally round him to emerge victorious at the primary.
