Former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu, has given hint that the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) is dead in Ondo State.
He gave the hint in a tweet on X which went thus: “As a member of the APC National Campaign Council for the November 16 Ondo State Governorship election, I joined Vice President Kashim Shettima, Governors, Senators, Rep. Members, Ministers and party leaders at the MKO Abiola Democracy Park in Akure, Ondo State, for the grand finale of the APC campaign for our governorship candidate, His Excellency, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
“This powerful gathering is a clear indication of our party’s commitment and readiness to delivering and retaining the “Sunshine State” to Governor Aiyedatiwa and the APC through the ballot.
“As the ‘Ofoneee Captain,’ I did not come all the way from our dear state alone. I am with my father and former Governor of Edo State, Senator Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole and other leaders who made us triumph in the Edo State Governorship election.
“Our presence together is a strong and powerful message to the resourceful, industrious, and hospitable people of Ondo State, ‘it is finished for PDP in Ondo, just as it is completely finished in Edo.'”
