Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has taken another step in forming his cabinet by submitting the names of six commissioner-nominees to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The nominees, whose names were forwarded in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government(SSG), Hon. Umar Musa Ikhilor, are expected to join the State Executive Council upon approval.
The letter read, “At the instance of His Excellency, the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, I write to forward for your consideration and confirmation, the underlisted names as Commissioner designates.”
Those nominated as Commissioners are Hon. Paul Nosayaba Ohonbamu, Hon. Dr. Washington Osa Osifo, Dr. Paddy Iyamu, Sir Lucky Eseigbe, Andrew ljegbai, and Barrister Marie Olabisi Idaomi.
