Edo State Government has announced the redeployment of Hon. Felix Akhabue, the Commissioner of Works to the Ministry of Water Resources.
According to an announcement by Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq, the Secretary to the State (SSG), Governor Monday Okpebholo, has approved the redeployment.
Further more, Ikhilor stated that “consequently, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works is to take over pending the deployment of a new Commissioner to the Ministry.”
According to the announcement, the directive takes immediate effect.
Hon. Akhabue is replacing Hon. Washington Osifo, who resigned from the cabinet early last month in pursuit of his political ambition to represent Uhunmwonde/Orhionmwon in the green chambers of the National Assembly starting from next year.
