Less than ten days to the Saturday, September 21 governorship election in Edo State,  the All Progressives Congress(APC) candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on Monday assured the people of Etsako West Local Government Area of the state that his administration will give priority attention to  the erosion problem in Auchi within hundreds days of his administration.

Okpebholo also assured the people of Agbede of the construction of the Agbede/Warreke Road within few months of his administration. He made the remark while speaking at the ward to ward  Governorship Campaign in Auchi, administrative headquarters of the local government area. The governorship candidate also told the people that he will continue from where Senator Adams Oshiomhole stopped if he emerges governor assuring to right all the wrongs of the Obaseki led government since 2016.

He said, “we need a new Edo.  September 21 is the day you will have freedom. You will get all you need from that day. Go out and vote APC. If you vote for me on September 21 we will continue from where Senator Oshiomhole stopped. I realised   you have a great son in him.”

Minister for the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Abubakar Momoh, speaking at Azama Primary School, Jattu told the people that Niger Delta Development Commission(NDDC) has approved N3 billion naira for the construction of Jattu Market  to make it a modern market.

Also speaking, Comrade Phillip Shaibu, said the APC has shown to the people that it is the party that delivered. He urged the people to come out on election day to  vote for APC.

Former governor of Edo State, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, said “we don’t do MoU. We work and don’t make noise, adding that he has settled with his son, Philip Shaibu. As from today, fight has left Uzaire. Those who thought I will not reconcile  with my son should go to the grave. Phillip Shaibu is my son. This one is the authentic deputy governor of Edo State.”

At Agbede, he told them that “we are aware of your problems. The new governor will solve them” urging them, “not to vote PDP because Obaseki wants to bring his Godson, Asue Ighodalo, so that he can cover up his fraud.”

In Agbede, former chairman of Etsako West Local Government Council, Gani Audu, appealed to the people to vote APC on September 21. He told them that with Oshiomhole almost all the parties will vote for APC.

He charged those present to go back home and each person should tell at least five people that on September 21, they should come out and vote for APC. Stressing that it is important for the people to elect the man who knows what to do and how to do it, saying that was the reason he is supporting Okpebholo because he knew how the people feel since he is a part of them.
