The Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, this afternoon boosted the morale of Bendel Insurance ahead of their match against Nasarawa Utd as his delegation of top government officials arrived in Lafia to cheer the team to victory.
The Governor sent a support team headed by the state APC Chairman, Emperor Jarret Tenebe, to Lafia to cheer and support the team. Emperor Jarret, who arrived Lafia in the company of Hon. Frank Ilaboya, as the team was heading for the stadium, brought warm greetings from the Edo State Governor
According to the football loving Edo APC Chairman, Governor Okpebholo is ready to do everything to ensure the players get the best of welfare and enjoined them to put in their best to make the state proud.
Emperor Jarret personally promised the team the sum of 3,000 dollars should they win this evening match, adding that the state government is working out more incentives for the players and officials.
